Benjamin S. McIntosh

Benjamin S. McIntoshAfter growing up in the Minneapolis area, Ben came to St. Louis to attend law school at St. Louis University School of Law. There he met his wife, Liz, who made St. Louis home for Ben.

Prior to joining Behr, McCarter, & Potter, P.C., Ben earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Spanish at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Afterwards, while in law school, Ben earned two Academic Excellence Awards for top grades in Civil Practice and the Founders’ Constitution. Ben earned his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 2015 with a concentration in civil litigation, graduating in the top 15% of his class. As a law student, Ben worked as a law clerk in firms that specialize in civil litigation, participated moot court competitions, and assisted in two cases involving the wrongful criminal convictions of innocent men, both of which resulted in their exoneration.

After law school, Ben worked at Brown & James, P.C., where he received substantial experience handling civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, copyright, property appraisal disputes, and insurance coverage. In addition, Ben advised one of the largest insurance carriers in the country regarding the handling of medical insurance fraud investigations.

Ben grew up in an entrepreneurial household that taught him that the key to success is to provide value to others. As an attorney, Ben’s primary focus is to provide value to clients by looking for the best possible solution to their legal problem. At Behr, McCarter & Potter, P.C., Ben counsels corporate, individual, and municipal clients on many areas of law, including personal injury, inverse condemnation, construction, commercial, professional liability, and insurance fraud.

Ben currently lives in the City of St. Louis with his wife, Liz, and daughter.
