Kathryn L. Maxson

Kate MaxsonKate joined Behr, McCarter & Potter in January 2016.  She represents all types of clients in personal injury matters, insurance coverage disputes, and medical malpractice cases, among other types of litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Kate spent several years almost exclusively representing construction clientele.   As such, she is particularly well versed in handling complex construction defect and construction related personal injury matters.   Kate has also advised clients regarding formation of business entities, drafting and negotiating contracts, and recording liens.

In 2009, Kate graduated magna cum laude from The University of Mississippi.  While at Ole Miss, Kate was actively involved in a number of campus organizations, and was elected President of the Mock Trial team.

In 2013, Kate graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.  While at Vanderbilt, Kate obtained a Certificate in Law and Business, which requires extensive coursework examining legal disputes in a business environment.  She also participated in mock trial, moot court, a semester-long externship at the International Bar Association, and conducted research for Professor Brian T. Fitzpatrick, among other activities.

Kate grew up in St. Louis, graduating from Kirkwood High School in 2006.  She is thrilled to be back in West County, close to friends and family.  In her spare time, Kate volunteers with several organizations, cheers on the Blues and Cardinals, and travels as much as her schedule permits.

You may contact Kate at (314) 862-3800 Ext. 223 or at kmaxson@bmplaw.com. Kate’s legal assistant is Almedina Besirovic (Ext. 235) or abesirovic@bmplaw.com.
